Why Review?

I've got a lot of books at home, I still buy them, even though I haven't actively read them regularly over the past few years. However, as the Summer is here (2019), and hopefully I'll have some time to sit in the sun and relax, there is no better time to start again.

But what was the catalyst that pushed the "get reading regularly again button"? Well, I'd been speaking to a friend and after chatting for a while it was great to find out that we liked similar TV shows, films and genre of books, which was really nice and resulted in recommendations being shared. Bookwise, she kindly offered to lend me a couple of books (she's a good one!) from one of her favourite authors, which I duly accepted. One of these books will be the first one I review.
